Manchester United v Liverpool

Saturday, 12:30 UK time
Premier League
The early kick-off on Saturday sees the greatest rivalry in English football take place at Old Trafford. United came from two down on Monday night to take all three points at Crystal Palace. Before that, they beat Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford. However, this is a Chelsea where Conte seems to already have his eye out for a new role as he will almost certainly be leaving London in the summer. United will most likely be missing three or four players through injury.
Liverpool have been hitting great heights again after a slight blip in January when they lost at Swansea and exited the FA Cup at the hands of West Brom at Anfield. They have won five in seven since then, keeping five clean sheets in the process. In fact, they’ve only conceded one goal in their last five games. Liverpool are missing Clyne and possibly Wijnaldum and Robertson due to injury.

So, for the best odds on Manchester United v Liverpool at the best UK bookmakers - let's get down to the betting tips for this game.

The last four games between these two sides have ended in a draw. It will be interesting to see what way Mourinho sets his United team up. There may be a little extra pressure on him not to park the bus as they are the home team. It's no surprise then that my tip is to back the draw in this game. It's 12/5 on bet365 at the moment. If you fancy better odds, then stick it on a 1-1 scoreline - 11/2 at Betfred.

A treble from the Championship

Cardiff City v Birmingham City
Cardiff have been in great form lately. They are almost certainly going to achieve automatic promotion to the Premier League but they have not given up hope on catching Wolves for the Championship title, either. Cardiff are home to Birmingham City who find themselves in the relegation dogfight and out of form. Cardiff to win at 8/13 on bet365 is the best option in this game.

Middlesbrough v Barnsley
Patrick Bamford has been in fine goalscoring form for Middlesbrough with seven goals in his last four games. Barnsley are just two points above the relegation zone and have been struggling to string any set of decent results together. This game should have plenty of goals. Since this bet is part of our treble, we'll play it "safe" by going with over 1.5 goals in the game - currently priced at 1/3 with Betfred. If you're looking for better odds or a side bet then it may be worth backing Bamford to score two or more. 5/1 with bet365 is the best odds for this selection.

Preston v Fulham
This game pits two sides who are in good goalscoring form going up against each other - a dream for us football betting fanatics. Young Irish striker, Seani Maguire, has impressed with three goals in his last two substitute appearances for Preston and will be hoping to push for a starting place. Fulham have been rising up the table and will be looking to settle into the playoff places as they Championship season enters its final two months. The bet for this game is over 1.5 goals, priced at 8/25 with Unibet.
